Barcelona

Madrid's loud cosmopolitan sister! If the name doesn't spark one of the most beloved football teams in the world, then the millions of visitors the city sees every year must be for the sun, sand and sea, not to mention the lively nightlife and Gaudi's architecture. At every twist and turn, you'll find art galleries, exhibitions and otherwise timeless Roman architecture with a rich and beautiful history. Hungry? Michelin-starred or not, the paella is to die for.
