Tipping.

Restaurants and bars- tipping is not essential in Milan, but it is appreciated.

Taxi- Milan taxi drivers don't expect a tip, so if you tip them, they may be surprised.

Hotels- There's no requirement to tip any hotel staff, although you can give a few euros if you receive good service.

Transport from Milan Airport.

 

There are 4 ways to get from Milan Airport to city center - by bus, taxi , train and private transfer.

Bus.

There are buses leaving the airports regularly so getting one is not an issue. You can get a ticket from the stand and be in the city within minutes. Although there are different companies the fares are no different all ranging from 5 to 10 euros.

Train.

Daily trains can be found at the terminals you will need to take a look at the schedule and fares accordingly.


Taxi.

Taxis can easily be found outside both terminals and have a fixed fare of about 90 euros to the city center.

Private transfer.

 A private transfer is booked in advance and is a comfortable ride to the city. The fare can be around 90 euros or more depending on the distance.

Best time to travel.

 

The best times to visit Milan are April to May or September to October.
