Eat and stay in Cape Town - luxury edition

When you’re in Cape Town, Table Mountain, Signal Hill and Old Biscuit Mill are some of the most famous places to visit. But during your trip, feel free to take a power hike in the morning or go catch some waves in the afternoon. It’s also a bucket list experience just waking up to gorgeous views of the harbour and the mountains!

All the adventures will make you hungry though and lucky for you, the city has amazing food. There are hot new restaurants everywhere and the fast food scene is big. But if it's a wine and dine, set expectations high because it will be world-class. I recommend these two.

La Colombe Restaurant

It's at the top of Silvermist Wine Estate and from the look of the place, I’m getting tree-house vibes. Classy but also cosy. They serve really good food with a French-y twist. Perfect after a long day of hiking.

Wolfgat

This beach restaurant is by the rocks (so romantic!). The cuisine is superb and all the food has natural ingredients sourced from right on the shore - from seafood to dry ingredients - so everything is fresh and delicious.

But now, where to stay? Cape Town has so many options. But first check their luxury hotels . They have spas guaranteed to take you to cloud nine. The best part is that so many hotels are right next to mountain ranges, nature trails and other fun places.

These are my picks. Why don’t you stay at:

One&Only Cape Town

It’s a hotel on its own private island and you get a 360 view of Table Mountain. It doesn’t get any better than that. But somehow it does! Their massive rooms are super luxe. They also have the best spa treatments and therapists waiting to pamper you.

The Silo Hotel Silo

It’s like another part of Cape Town. The entire hotel is like one big work of art which makes sense because it is literally located on top of an art museum. Look out your window to see the V&A Waterfront. It's so shiny and beautiful at night.
