Best places to stay in Mallorca

Mallorca, with its beautiful sandy beaches, cozy artists' villages, fine dining, and magnificent hiking trails, constitute an entire miniature continent! This small but entrancing island is impressive and very easy to get around on. Mallorca's capital, Palma, is worth a trip in itself, becoming a popular wkndtrp destination. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to be enjoyed! Plaça Major is the city center, but the trendiest area is the Santa Catalina district, where the fishermen lived in days past. The magnificent cathedral of La Seu is the island's most famous attraction and is definitely a must-see.

But where should you stay? What are the best hotels in Majorca? My own favorites are found in Palma, just outside Palma and in the small port of Soller. But of course, there are many other luxury hotels, eco-hotels, and boutique hotels in Majorca. For me these 3 hotels offer tranquility, views yet close to all the splendors of Mallorca.

Sant Francesc Hotel Singular

A luxury boutique hotel in the old town of Palma de Mallorca. Featuring dining at Quadrat, a garden, rooftop pool and terrace in the historic center.

Hotel Bendinat

Located at the seafront in the bay of Palma, hidden in the exclusive residential area of Bendinat. The hotel itself has a rocky beach and a direct access to the sea, where swimming and diving can be practised.

Hotel ESPLENDIDO

Overlooking the beautiful Puerto de Soller, surrounded by the majestic Tramontana mountain. Built in 1954 in one of Mallorcas most beautiful villages, it remains a favourite for people all around the world.

In the WKNDTRP app you will find details about the hotels as well as 30 or so more hotels which are all great in there own way. You will also easily find the restaurants, bars, beaches and even shops to fulfil that perfect Mallorca vacation.

I will return with more recommendations. Stay safe and enjoy the sun!
